The word ‘vinyasa’ translates to: “the connection of breath to movement.”
Hatha vinyasa flow is a yogic practice that teaches the fundamentals of yoga. It suits all fitness levels: beginners, intermediate, advanced and athletes. In this class, you will learn the basic skills necessary to encourage smooth movement into different asanas (yoga poses) while focusing on the breath. Poses are held for several minutes to build strength and flexibility, foster energy and confidence, and hone in on the mind and body. Each pose connects to the previous one to create a continuous flow of movement throughout the sequence. Classes vary in sequences to engage different areas of the mind and body, as well as to keep things fresh and exciting with each new flow!
